Trainer: Mike Hamilton
Trainer Bio:
Michael Hamilton joined Nether Providence Soccer in August 2008 as the trainer for the U11 Palominos.
Prior to joining NPAA Soccer Club, Mike was the Assistant Coach for the UNLV women’s soccer team after spending the 2005 season at Akron, where he was a graduate assistant and goal keeper coach for the women’s soccer team. While coaching the Zips, he not only worked with the training of the goalkeepers, but also initiated the first indoor soccer clinic hosted by the team during the winter.
Previous to Akron, Hamilton served as head women’s soccer coach at The Baldwin School from 2003-04 in Brny Mawr, Pa., and led them to a 25-3-2 record. The team also set a new school record for wins in a season under Hamilton and received a seed in the state tournament for the first time. Hamilton also served as the Cheltenham High School girls head coach for one year, and the goalkeeper coach for the Cheltenham High School boys team for one year as well. He currently holds a USSF National `D’ License, and was the Ohio North Region II ODP Goalkeeper coach.
A four-year goalie at Philadelphia University from 1996-2000, Hamilton led the program to three Philadelphia Soccer Seven Championships and a national ranking of 23. He also earned All-Independent Team honors and ranks fourth all-time in wins at the school. Since 2002, Hamilton has also played for Lighthouse S.C., Amateur Cup and Open Cup Champions.
Currently, Hamilton serves as the Nevada ODP Boys Goalkeeper coach, and also recieved his USSF `C’ License in January of 2007. He has also formed a company, Dynamic Soccer Training LLC, which hosts clinics in goalkeeping, and soccer specific speed & agility training.
Hamilton earned his bachelor of science degree in management information systems from Philadelphia University in 2000, and his master’s degree in physical education from Akron in 2006.

Winter indoor plans include comprehensive skills training with futsal balls at TriState Sports for January and February 2009.
The Palominos will also be competing in the George Pratt Memorial Cape May Classic, The West Deptford Thanksgiving Tournament as well as several Winter Indoor Cups and the EPYSA Spring Outdoor Cup Tournament.
